Reservoir Bathroom Renovation

The Victorian

Our brief was to leverage the existing floor plan and channel a Victorian vibe. We achieved this look with a stylish black, white and gold colour palette, arched mirrors and traditional hardware.

Sometimes you have the opportunity to find an antique that you can restore and fit into the space perfectly. This vanity is over 100 years old. Our clients took it upon themselves to strip it back to its original colour and stained to achieve a perfect timber finish.

Having a bath for this young family was really important and the niche we installed meant there was easy access for bath toys and mums favourite candle.

Want to make your tiles stand-out? Using white grout against black tiles is a great way to make tiles pop!

We continued the Victorian theme in the ensuite by installing a pedestal sink. Since storage wasn’t an issue, we went with the pedestal sink to open up the room and to provide additional floor place. The tall, thin arched mirror also gave the illusion of a larger space.

We used Capping tiles to transition from the white subway tiles through to the painted walls. Using black Capping tiles meant for a bold yet classic finish and was a great way to frame the bathroom walls. The white subway tile is timeless and keeps the overall look of this room feeling fresh and vibrant.
