Williamstown Bathroom Renovation

The Grand

This home renovation was a very juicy orange (check out the before photos at the bottom of the page to see what I mean). We worked through the bathroom design process with our client to create additional wardrobe storage by revising the existing floorplan, without encroaching on the footprint of the bathroom.

The pendant light served as a statement feature and also optimised light. You can never have enough storage, especially not in the wardrobe. These customised timber wardrobes include plenty of space for hanging clothes and not to mention plenty of draw space.

This master bedroom is located at the front of the home and can be directly accessed from the hallway. To make enough space to enter the room we relocated the bedroom door.

We wanted to incorporate details that would make the bathroom feel warm and inviting so we chose a bold floating timber vanity, consistent with the wardrobe timber. The grey tile, accents on the floor while the gold accents represent a modern interpretation of a classic look that’s well-suited to this beach side home.

We removed the original built in spa to create more space and replaced this with a 1700mm shower. The shower is fit with two gold accented shower heads and a 1500mm niche. The natural light from the bedroom was minimised with the wardrobe so we installed a skylight over the vanity.

Custom black steel frame doors with frosted glass make such a statement in this master bedroom.

We used wallpaper to add a bright and fresh feel to the room after transitioning from the walk in robe. The white plantation shutters sourced from DIY Blinds provide the right balance of privacy and natural light filtering through the room.
